macushlaw Assists Squamish Housing and Hiy̓ám̓ Housing with Acquisition Vehicle for Tantalus Manor

macushlaw is pleased to have assisted Hiy̓ám̓ ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Housing Society and Squamish Community Housing Society with the formation of its acquisition structure for their joint acquisition of Tantalus Manor at 1098 Wilson Crescent in Squamish, B.C.

The acquisition has secured a 40-unit multi-family complex offering rents approximately 62% below market rates. The property was at risk of re-development and the acquisition has preserved the units as affordable rental for years to come.
